Making an Image into a Button

Eh...?

<INPUT type=image src="/images/button.gif" value="whatever" />

Glider...?

Part of the hacking community eh? If not, I'd suggest taking it out of your avatar. I'm not and I displayed it for a short period of time, but now that I've taken it down I realize how annoy it is to see 'posers' flaunt it, but if you truely part of that community I apologize.

unsider, thank you! I'll try this.

Um, yes, I'm a hacker, not a cracker.

I do some "ethical cracking" work for some sites when I get bored. In other words, I attempt to infiltrate their systems and when I do, I attempt to prevent others from doing so. But like I said, I do it when I get bored or have nothing better to do.

  • 2 weeks later...

This is probably very basic, but could anyone show me how to make an image into a button?

Was your concern resolved, or do you need more info on that question.

Actually, your question was very generic... certain things need to be addressed:

Are you wanting the image to be reduced to a certain 'button' size,

Are you wanting rollover effect,

What function are you wanting the 'button' to do,

Do you want a link-colored border around it, or have other link properties,

are you wanting it in the format of html or in an app like Flash or fireworks?

*whew* ... so many questions in such a short time... I must go sit down now.  ;)
