bcoffin
IE7 thinks it's okay to store my .user/pass entered when accessing an .htaccess-protected webpage -- why it thinks that: i don't know. How do I clear/disable this feature? Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/106486-internet-explorer-7-and-htaccess/ Share on other sites
Daniel0
Where does it store it? Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/106486-internet-explorer-7-and-htaccess/#findComment-545925 Share on other sites
revraz
You probably can't disable that without using the SDK. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/106486-internet-explorer-7-and-htaccess/#findComment-545947 Share on other sites
bcoffin
When I browse to ANY .htaccess protected page, IE presents it's security login popup (pic of a keychain in the upper left corner). I can then choose from a dropdown of usernames EVERYTHING ever entered to access a secured page. This is what I wish to clear... There's no reason to store this information otherwise, what's the purpose of IE prompting login in the first place? revraz
Autocomplete should only be for FORMS, not htaccess prompts. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/106486-internet-explorer-7-and-htaccess/#findComment-546107 Share on other sites
