dmccabe
I am using Wamp (apache) on my web server and if there was an error on a page where I missed semi colon or something I used to get the "error on line blah" messages. For some reason I don't get any errors any more and if something is wrong all I get is a blank page. Have I disabled something? if so what and and how do I turn it back on? trq
Take a look at the error_reporting and display_errors directives within your php.ini.
dmccabe
I have this enabled in my php.ini: error_reporting = E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE & ~E_STRICT display_errors = On Yet all I get is a white page when there is an error. If copy the same page to my localhost and run it there, then I get the usual php error messages. Any ideas?
GingerRobot
You might want to check which PHP ini is actually being used. If you run this: <?php phpinfo(); ?> And check that you are editing the same one as is given under 'Loaded Configuration File'. Also, make sure you restart apache after making the changes. You might also want to check that PHP is being parsed. Make sure that if you view the source, you don't just get the PHP code.
dmccabe
Well done you I thought it was the php.in within the WAMP directory, but it is actually in c:\php\ Changed Display_errors to (ON) and all is good Thanks!
