joshjryan
i want to be able to make sure a user is logged in, before being able to view a pdf. so, I think i will need all of my authentication scripts to run in the same browser window that the PDF displayes in. right now a user can go to url.com/documents/file_name.pdf and view it, even if they are not logged in. Hopefully that makes sense. Thanks for your help!
hitman6003
mod_auth... http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/mod_auth_basic.html Other wise, you'll have to have a "download" page, where the user info is checked, then the file sent to the user by the script, rather than linking directly.
