beanbagzilla
This is my first attempt at a ecommerce site. I would love to hear any feedback to make the site better.[a href=\"http://Beanbagzilla.com\" target=\"_blank\"]Beanbagzilla.com[/a]Thanks in advance,Beanbagzilla
haydndup
Well, it looks quite nice. But you may want to consider validating it. Your home page fails validation with 110 errors for HTML 4 Transitional[a href=\"http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fbeanbagzilla.com%2F\" target=\"_blank\"]W3C Validator[/a]Good Luck
steviewdr
Overall - ok.The green is only allright.I would make the left and right border a little darker to define the website width a little more. The header of your page could do with a little work also. Perhaps a light background or something. For the search -> put a javascript calender to help input dates.I would also like ALL the text to be a little bigger.Seems like the cart seems to work nicely - well done.Rgds,Steve
moberemk
So... many... tables... THEY BURN!Aside from the validation errors, the *shudder*tables*shudder*, and the terrible contrast between the dark green and the black, looks good! beanbagzilla
Thanks to everyone for the feeback so far.I'll definitly take a look at the validation and correct the issues there. Can't believe I missed those.moberemk, can you explain what you mean with the table comments? Honestly not sure if they were good or bad comments... :)Thanks again,Beanbagzilla
moberemk
Let me put it this way: to me, tables for layout is like kryptonite.
beanbagzilla
moberemk,I really like the green / black colors on the site. I guess it's just personal preference. Also, not sure why the tables are an issue. Does this pose a problem of some kind that I'm unaware of?Thanks,Beanbagzilla
moberemk
It's partly personal preference, partly accessibility issues (tables just don't work well for a lot of accessibility tricks), partly clean code, and partly the flexibility of a CSS layout.
