asmith
Hey guys when i use utf-8 (persian) characters in a link : utf.php?key=هندی utf.php : <php echo $_GET[key]; ?> It doesn't show it right, but this link : utf.php?key=%D9%87%D9%86%D8%AF%DB%8C will echo "هندی" on the page. I wanted to know is there any way i could use utf(persian) in the link or i have to convert it to hex? if the latter, is there a function in php to convert "هندی" to "%D9%87%D9%86%D8%AF%DB%8C" ? ( I found utf-decode and encode but they don't seem to work) Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/117920-solved-utf8-hex-convert-and-viceversa/ Share on other sites
zq29
As far as I'm aware, you will not be able to pass that in the query string. Have you tried rawurlencode() ? asmith
Yea, that was it. I searched a lot, couldn't find it. Thanks a lot man. Still shame we can't pass those characters in a query string.
