[SOLVED] Simple problem

That I can't figure out

 

Basically two things

I need to have $profile_id = $user_id

if

there is no fb_page_id parameter in the POST to the php.

 

and also

have $page_url_link

=

fb_page_id=(+the fb_oage_id from the POST if it exists)

 

Any help?

 

I sux at php

 

I tried having like

if ($_POST['fb_page_id'] == '')
(
$profile_id = $_POST['fb_page_id']
$page_url_link = fb_page_id="' . $profile_id . '"
)

  <fb:tab-item href="http://someurl.com/filename.php?' . $row["id"] . ' title="About"/>

but that resulted in

PHP Parse error:  syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home/site/public_html/appname/index.php on line 9

with line 9 being:

$page_url_link = fb_page_id="' . $profile_id . '"

An "if" block is delimited by "{ }", not "( )":
