dmccabe
You know you try to do something to improve the company you work for and all you get is complaints I changed our companies old Excel branch list to a web based one which can be editted by a select few staff. It works fine and most love it. However the one complaint I have had is that it now takes 18 pages when it is printed and this is not good. So how would you suggest I create a nicely formatted printable version? Simply output the data in to a small table? or would it better to turn it in to a PDF or something first? Fadion
I'm in for the small table version. Usually I'm not to keen on PDFs as they are really slow on startup. A small, compact table (but readable obviously) is better in my opinion and you cut also the number of pages.
Mchl
I'd go for PDF. But that's perhaps because I got used to FPDF and can do simple good looking tables quite quick. Printing from browser on the other side is usually a fuss...
dmccabe
Thanks for the advice guys, I have however decided to go with the Tables one for ease of use really. One more question is it possible for when this page is loaded for it force it to be in landscape mode and to automatically bring up the print dialog?
