marcusm
I've looked at quite a few search different search options but I can't really find what i'm looking for. What I am needing is to be able to search for ranges (price) and a certain location. For example apartment searches. I would need to search lets say MIN: 500 Max: 1,400 as well as ZIPCODE: 99999 and have the results come up. <img src="http://i37.tinypic.com/52mj2e.jpg"> I'm very new to php so I won't be able to write the code from scrath, i can however do quite a bit once I have the basics to go off of. I appreciate any and all help! Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/125972-custom-search-form/ Share on other sites
Maq
Are these products located in a database? You should set up the form in HTML and submit it to a PHP page (usually itself for easy error handling) and you're going to need a firm grasp of SQL queries to get the desired results. Have you built any of the form yet? Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/125972-custom-search-form/#findComment-651420 Share on other sites

Have you built any of the form yet? I guess let me explain my exact idea first. This is for a real estate company that is wanting a generic looking site for people to search for apartments. The idea is to only show their properties... just depending on location and what was searched. Would making a searchable database be the best idea? Ideally if I could have them put a zipcode in and just pull up certain "pre made" pages that would work to. idk..
