Flames
Multiple code buttons depending on what forum area your in e.g. php help should highlight php, JS help should highlight JS, VB help should highlight VB etc. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/126941-multiple-code-buttons/ Share on other sites
DarkWater
The PHP is highlighted with the highlight_string() function built into PHP, so it's MUCH easier to implement than JS and VB highlighting, because they'd actually need to install (possibly heavy) parsing engines for them. I doubt it's going to happen. @_@ Would be sort of interesting I guess. On second thought, it would just confuse me. Nvm. JasonLewis
I know over at another forum I am relatively active on (Spherical) they have a JS parser. Because Spherical is for the RPG Engine Sphere which is powered by JavaScript they got a JS parser somewhere. You use it with [js][/js] tags. I don't know where they got it from though.
