Stooney Posted October 5, 2008 Share Posted October 5, 2008 I know how to make the entire MySQL Server remotely accessible, but how would I go about only making select databases remotely accessible? For security am I better off running a second server on a different port dedicated to the less secure remotely accessible databases? For example, you can make a remote version of a user with access to only certain DBs. Just look into MySQL users/privs so on.
