sweetname
Hi. I have just redesigned this page: http://www.greatoutdooronline.com/ and I was hoping to get some feedback. The Inventory page is the one that links to most of the sites content. Only two places in the Inventory have had pictures and videos uploaded so I will provide a direct link to them. http://www.greatoutdooronline.com/inventory/?state=al;city=Andalusia -and- http://www.greatoutdooronline.com/inventory/?state=fl;city=Chipley Please tell me your opinion. Thanks
DarkWater
I like that it validates, but I don't like the way the source of the page looks. There's like, no spaces. >_< Anyway, I think you need a new header and a new background. It seems to drab and old-school (like one of those way-back-when HTML pages from the early 2000's), but that's just my opinion.
sweetname
Yea sorry about the source. I stripped all the easy to get white space out with a regex when I uploaded it. I'll have to work on the logo and stuff. Ty
jcombs_31
Looks detached. I don't like the two boxes on the left/right. The colors are pretty ugly. There's nothing really wrong with green, but not that shade you are using and it is overpowering. This is a nice use of green http://www.trale.com/index.php/ You're using rounded corners everywhere and then your menu has sharp edges. I think you should be consistent. Logo can use some help. Overall it just doesn't seem laid out very well.
sweetname
So nobody really likes the separated 3 column look? When you say detached do you mean you think it would look better with a solid colored background div wrapping the three sections instead of them just floating there with the background image showing thu? jcombs_31
Better yes, but hard to say if it will look good. Just as you said, they appear to be floating (detached in my words). Everything should have a specific flow to guide the user's eyes to the main content regions.
