Stooney Posted November 7, 2008 Share Posted November 7, 2008 So I have a client who had two servers (both windows 2000) both running the same domain controller (we'll call it domain.org). So each server was for a specific purpose, but you just needed the single domain.org and didn't have to know what server had what to get what you wanted (hope that makes sense). One of the servers recently died and I rebuilt it. I don't exactly know how having a identical domain controllers on 2 different servers works. Do I just set up the rebuilt server on that same domain and things will magically start working again? I know how to set up the domains and whatnot, just not sure if there's anything I need to know about multiple servers on a single domain. Let me know if that didn't make sense.
