The Little Guy
I would like to start an "Open Source Project", but I am not sure what I should do, any ideas?
Daniel0
A lot of stupid posts are made on forums. You could create a system that learns to recognize stupidity and tells people to rethink their post.

Daniel0
I was serious. I heard about a such tool once. Humans would review messages and rate them. Using artificial intelligence the system would learn to spot stupidity based on some sort of patterns.

I would like to do something that hasn't been over done, or done at all. I would like it to be something that would/could help any programmer/non-programmer with some sort of common task. tomfmason
I would like to start an "Open Source Project", but I am not sure what I should do, any ideas? 1) Figure out what the "project" is going to do and it's name 2) Determine what licence the "project" would be released under 3) Use something like gna, sourceforge or google code for development/distribution/issue tracking 4) Sit back and enjoy the glory that comes from developing free software
