.josh
I think the next time I buy a monitor I'm actually gonna buy an lcd or plasma hdtv with div input. You get a lot more bang for your buck that way. I hooked up my 47" tv (dynex brand) a couple weeks ago and was messing around in World of Warcraft. It was glorious. TV cost me like $650 which is a lot more than your budget but look at what it would cost to get a 47" monitor. Or rather, look into $200-$250 hdtvs I bet you can find bigger and better. Dunno if you need dvi input but they usually always at least have a vga or hdmi input. Or there's adapters out there. Mchl
I've been working with several Belinea models. Most of them pretty good (I mean: good image quality, but sometimes poor design). And they're not too expensive. Had one serious failure, when one half of the screen went totally black (just some 5 minutes after switching it on for the first time) but it was replaced with no hassle. Apart from that, there's on average 0,7 dead (sub)pixels (given sample of 7 displays) per screen, but no more than 1 on single unit. Stooney
Given your budget and assuming you would prefer widescreen (who wouldn't), I would go with this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236050 It comes with a mail-in rebate and it's ASUS (one of my preferred brands). It was amazing looking. It hurt inside to unhookit . Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/133588-monitors/#findComment-696277 Share on other sites
