php with javascript image-gallery? can that be done so that "dynamic" thumbs can then be pulled up or show quickerwith Javascript?

 

I thought there was a way to automatically have it so that if one calls per example record #44, it brings all these thumbs that relate to this record, say pictures 1,2,3 &4... is one then able to click on each one that then brings larger version quickly, as opposed to having to re-load page again??  I guess that kind of getst done with ajax, but i know even less of it than I do Javascript.

 

I simply thought I could bring each image thumbs-set with PHP and have javascript display large one.. am i completely off?? I have seen that being done in some sites, where they do seem to parse records with php of asp, but then are able to show larger versions of these images with some kind of javascript...

hmm... Im not exactly sure what your asking. Can you rephrase it in just a couple sentences, as I have a short attention span.

Yeah, you can create an image gallery with ajax....

 

I'm not sure what exact kind of answer you want.
