maxudaskin
I have changed the overall style of my new virtual airline website. http://www.vatransat.co.cc For a pilots center demo: User: 9999 Pass: password It does not view properly in IE. ILMV
Nice to see you have redesigned it, but it still looks amature. * The colour scheme doesn't go, very dark content on a blue background (representing the sky?) * The images used for the login and 'find a flight' text are black on gray. * The image of the plane in the header looks ok, but the darkening effect doesn't do any favours. * The header texts again is black on gray, not easy to read. My thoughts (if it were me) * Make the content lighter, every single plane I have ever seen has been white, white is a safe colour (if used properly), start from there. * Consider using a favicon. * Definetly make is usable in IE, as it has 45% of the browser market (roughly). Keep Going! ILMV Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/134458-virtual-airline-website-remade/#findComment-700232 Share on other sites
maxudaskin
The colours (or shades in this case) have been lightened. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/134458-virtual-airline-website-remade/#findComment-700743 Share on other sites

ILMV
The title text still looks really really dark, you have to remember, there should be a large contrast between back and foreground colour... What I suggest, is to use the resource below and enter the two colours you are using, and then see what the tool says. I did a rough test and it was way off of the scale. http://snook.ca/technical/colour_contrast/colour.html ILMV Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/134458-virtual-airline-website-remade/#findComment-700950 Share on other sites
