[SOLVED] add 100 gold each time a user registers **simple**

i have a database called "game" a table called "users" with 10 fields...i trying to make something so that each time a user registers they automatically get 100 gold...and one of the fields in my table is called gold also. what code do i edit? the registration page?

This line

just needs to include the gold row, you should be able to do that yourself, but just in case here it is

 $q = "INSERT INTO users (email, pass, first_name, last_name, active, registration_date,gold) VALUES ('$e', SHA1('$p'), '$fn', '$ln', '$a', NOW() ,'100')";

I added  it to the bottom and registered and it did nothing..

No! Replace the variable $q with
