Im using dreamweaver and its asking How i connect to my remote server? what is the host name or ftp address of your web server? what folder on the server do you want to store your files in? and i have my ftp login and password from the email i just got from justhost.com. oh and i purchased my domain name from godaddy.com....i don't know to get them to work! some help PLEASE Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Daniel0 Posted December 14, 2008 Share Posted December 14, 2008 Your host has probably supplied you with a set of domain servers (DNS) that you need to setup in your Godaddy domain control panel. Once you've done that then it will take up to 24-48 hours for the changes to propagate across the internet. My experience is that most of the times it's much lower though, like a couple of hours. It sounds like Dreamweaver is asking for your FTP login credentials. Just enter those. The folder on the server you are storing your files in is probably called either public_html, htdocs, or www.
