Can you see any problems with this mail script?

I have a feeling its a hosting issue, but this is what it looks like:

$msg = mail("[email protected]","test subject","this is a test msg");
if($msg)
{
    echo "sent";
}
else
{
    echo "failed";
}
?>

 

I contacted support and they said to change my script to this and still doesnt work:

yeah..I dont see anything wrong with it either

Are you sure it is not being junked by your email filter?

 

Check your spam box and make sure.
