chapterBlack.com 1.0 Launched!

Finally, chapterBlack has opened after a little over a month in private development. I'm glad to say that chapterBlack is out of the production stage and is open for the general public. As a newly launched project, we're currently in the process of seeking loyal staff members, and providing you with a weekly dose of HQ Yu Yu Hakusho episodes. We also plan on having other anime series in the near future as well, but that is to say if this site turns out successful. Enjoy your stay =).

 

I've just finished designing the entire site so I thought I'd post it here and share it with you guys. Some things arent finished and are still being worked on (faq page, media page). As a new community, we're looking for some new members who're interested in anime / yu yu hakusho, or just want a place to hangout. So don't hesitate to register.

 

Let me know what you guys think of the design / forum skin as well. Alot of time went into it, thanks.

Yu Yu Hakusho ay. Man I got some of the episodes of that, bought em one I was younger. Was an okay series actually. The website looks nice from the first look. Typical anime website though, but you can't complain because I always find most anime sites to be pretty nice.

 

The media page doesn't work. :S

The site layout is simple and neat. I love the fact that it simply consists of individual square containers, which is a great look for the site. The page is a bit bland as of yet though. I suppose it'll come together nicely once you've got more users! I think you should use some vague gradients to add a bit of dimension to the page, and also create a nice 404 page.
