Is it possible to use a linux machine to receieve mails e.g from inf@x.com

and then share it to admin@x.com, joe@x.com, mike@x.com and so on ..?

If so where do i start IF i have an ubuntu installed server machine ready in my network and connected to the internet?

Thanks

Joe

You will need to do some research on it.

Go through a few tutorials, such as:

http://www.howtoforge.com/postfix_antispam_mailscanner_clamav_ubuntu

http://www.howtoforge.com/howtos/linux/ubuntu

There are many different configs for postfix, so I suggest you follow a tutorial such as the above one.

If you decide to use Postfix, you might want to buy the nostarch press Postfix book, or you'll be pulling your hair out! I set up postfix successfully, but it was no easy task, and once I got the book it made things a lot more clear.
