popcornplya
I just downloaded an ISO file (around 6gb) but I only have 700mb CD's, is there anyway to put them into parts or something? Thanks. GingerRobot
Cant you just use one of the readily available programs to mount the iso as a virtual CD drive? Daniel0
When GingerRobot said "Cant you just use one of the readily available programs to mount the iso as a virtual CD drive?" he meant "Just use one of the readily available programs to mount the iso as a virtual CD drive". It was a rhetorical question. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/142821-solved-iso-help/#findComment-748656 Share on other sites
corbin
Or you could even extract it if you don't need it to be seen as a DVD drive. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/142821-solved-iso-help/#findComment-748674 Share on other sites
popcornplya
Or you could even extract it if you don't need it to be seen as a DVD drive. , do I need a special program or something? (btw sorry for these stupid questions but I've never downloaded/used an ISO ever in my life) When GingerRobot said "Cant you just use one of the readily available programs to mount the iso as a virtual CD drive?" he meant "Just use one of the readily available programs to mount the iso as a virtual CD drive". It was a rhetorical question. Thanks, I'm gonna do that if I cant extract it. corbin
Hrmmmm..... I don't know what all programs can extract an ISO. I think Winrar might be able to. Or MagicISO. (MagicISO only has a trial, and Winrar has an indefinite trial.) tibberous
WinRar can, but 99% of the time you get an ISO it needs mounted, just like a girlfriend or a horse. corbin
A lot of times ISO's for installers don't need to be mounted. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/142821-solved-iso-help/#findComment-748759 Share on other sites
