pixy
If I want to use mysqli extensions, do I have to change ALL my functions to mysqli? I've got so many regular mysql stuff it would be a royal pain to go in and change all of them. For example, if I connect to the database using mysql_connect, can I use mysqli_query() later in the same script? wildteen88
If you want to use mysqli based functions you'll need to change your mysql based funtions to mysqli. Also note that some mysqli functions have a different parameter order. Plus you cannot mix and match mysql and mysqli functions.
