Alicia Posted March 5, 2009 Share Posted March 5, 2009 Hi, How can I activate something like ajax / javascript pop up window on the recipient browser when we send them a message ? someting like what we can see in some livesupport system where they can invite visitors for a chat by clikcing a button.., can some gurus please advise what I can use to prompt/alert the user if we have sent them a message or an activity happened in their account without needing them to refresh the page just like most support live chat inviter popup screen e.g : when I send a message from an internal application to another user 'ALAN'... I want a dhtml, ajax or js popup window will automatically appear in ALAN's browser and notify him about the incoming mail or other activities in his account without needing him to refresh his browser from time to time.
