matthewo256
I'm distributing a CD with files that need to be served by PHP/Apache. I need a bare-bones server that "just works" on everything to put on the CD. I'd like to have either no splash screen, or a custom splash screen that I would provide while the web server loads and the browser opens. Do you have a favorite? corbin
Apache is pretty light if configured lightly and trimmed down. As far as super light goes, I have no idea. steviewdr
Bare-bones server? Is it a cd you want people to run ontop of their OS? OR a live cd (where they reboot their pc?). I made a custom cd which autorun apache on windows. I made it years ago, and it worked on vista even. You could also look at xampp. -steve Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/148423-mini-web-server/#findComment-779913 Share on other sites
