goldmercury
I'm having a problem with a competitor clicking my ad's on google. The issue I have is I can't find out their IP address that easily from awstats or last visitor. Google analytics does not let you know the IP address of a adwords click. I do see however in the last visitor stats some keyword code search?sourceid=navclient&hl=en-GB&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1T4GGL this tells me that it was an adword click. Is there any way to marry up this from the stats and ip address in some php code for recording? ILMV
I haven't tried this yet, but there is a way to get Google Analytics to record the IP address of traffic, you define it as your single custom field, and use JavaScript to send that off to the Analytics site. This page will tell you more... http://intermarketing.merkados.com/ip-address-google-analytics Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/154460-ip-address-and-google-adwords-keywords/#findComment-812176 Share on other sites
