I need help...

Hello, I am still very new at PHP but I have a friend who runs an online business, it accepts takes paypal payments. I want after the paypal payments are sent, for it to take the paypal address and do this:

1) Use a search engine (google)

2) Send the query "paypaladdress + paypal"

3) If there is greater than ten results sent back, then put it on a list called "Manual Authorization" if not, it will send them an email with the product they bought automatically.

for example: http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=zzkid%40hotmail.com+paypal&btnG=Search&meta=

With that, in the corner there is " Results 1 - 1 of 1 for [email protected] paypal. (0.15 seconds) " if that number is greater than ten, put it on a different list.

But i'm not sure if this is possible with PHP.

why would you want to do this in the first place?

Because his business has had quite a few people using hacked paypals, this will lower the amount of products that get sent out if they aren't real. If there is more than 10 results, he can google the paypal email himself, and see if they are phished.

Well, you could always use an api or curl

but searching my email and paypal, came up with 382 results - none of which really have anything to do with me. according to your theory i'd be a thief :P

I tested it with several emails, most of the time it shows up less than ten results.

:o
