steveangelis
I have my table withthe column timestamp and I am trying to retreive the date and it is how showing up correct. Here is my code: $pmq = mysql_query("select *, UNIX_TIMESTAMP(time_sent) AS FORMATED_TIME from pm where user_to=".$_COOKIE['id']." order by id asc"); That is the query to get the date. $pmft=mysql_result($pmr,0,"FORMATED_TIME"); $date=date("g:s, t M, Y",$pmc['time_sent']); I echo the date and I get this error and to be honest I am beyond confused with this. All I want it to do is echo the date and I know it is stored correctly. Where am i going wrong? Helmet
It looks like you're asking MySQL to format it, then you're asking PHP to format it. You should pass the raw value to the PHP date function. premiso
MySQL Date Format Why not pull it out of MySQL the way you want it instead of converting it to a timestamp?
