asmith
Hi, I have these files which I need to convert them to something else, but the converter can't be run under linux. It need windows os. (and I can't install Wine on my server) So I'm thinking : I need to get a windows server only to place this converter into it. So I send the file-needs-to-be -converted from my linux server to this windows server, Have it converted to what I need, and send it back to my linux. I haven't done such thing before. I don't know how much time it will require to do such communications. (assuming files will be 200kb and the conversion process will be instant) has anyone done such thing before? and what are my best options to gain the fastest way possible? Daniel0
What kind of files would that be? Maybe there exists an alternative converter for Linux.
