Time Zone of the website

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I've just noticed that the website itself does not allow you to apply a time-zone on a per-user basis. For example I just posted a comment in reply to a blog post that displays the date as 28 May 2009 09:37:39. In the UK, where I am it was 14:37:39.

Is this something that has been considered before? It's not going to make a huge difference, just makes it a more personalised experience.

Cheers,

Gareth

Overall the design will be improved (courtesy of Jeff). There will be some general refactoring (to make my life easier in the future), a tagging/category system for tutorials, asset manager for people with author permissions so they don't have to host images etc. externally. There are some other things I haven't decided completely on yet, so I won't disclose that. Otherwise I'll just have people saying "but you said we would get X and Y!"

Again, there is no ETA available though.
