rdldigital
wondering if anyone can tell me how to post a simple/basic "scheduler" using basic php? what i need the script to do is enable people to click on a time of day (prob an hour or 2) on a calendar, in order for them to have access to a board mtg room, for the time they requested. (the building has multiple occupants and this way, they can select on the website what time they get to use the meeting room) again, this can be very simple.. just need some code to be able to do that and obviously hook up to a mysq db. thanks. ryan Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/161876-php-scheduling-script/ Share on other sites
haku
If this can be very simple, why can't you do it? That statement just proved that you don't actually know what you are talking about, since it's not very simple at all. It's definitely not something that can be explained in one thread. rdldigital
uh, maybe im not a simple guy! let me re-phrase and say that by "simple" i mean i dont need that many options, like some php scripts offer. ...just a area where you type your name in, click on a time of day, and hit submit, and it goes to DB and posts on the web page. or if anyone can just send me a few sites where i can find it...and what would the "techy" name be for this? Maq
uh, maybe im not a simple guy! Apparently you're a little too simple. Maybe you're better off with a 3rd party script. This may tickle your fancy - http://www.easyphpcalendar.com/index.php.
