jackwh
Hey guys, I am working on a project that is nearly ready. The project is http://tweetle.in I am currently on Work Experience with a web design firm, and using the knowledge I learnt from them, coded this front page. 100% hand-coded CSS, HTML and PHP. Please give me some constructive criticism. I want it to look elegant, yet be functional and informative. I have also aimed for cross-browser compatibility, and I'm thankful for the tool some of you may find useful @ http://browsershots.org You'll see a different design when you submit your email address - try it out and see? Thanks! Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/165389-feedback-on-my-launching-soon-page/ Share on other sites
jcombs_31
LOL, coded 100% huh, I see a big image centered on the page. The text should be text, not an image. There isn't really much there to critique. Adam
Haha, yeah I agree. You managed to pull 5 errors as well: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Ftweetle.in Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/165389-feedback-on-my-launching-soon-page/#findComment-872762 Share on other sites
mattal999
Also, why is the bird on the branch a div? Just make it the background image with no repeat and align it top left. A lot easier and less code. Make the image into text. Text-images look horrible. No offense intended. Get rid of the </p> which is causing 5 errors in the validation. That should just about sort it.
