AshleyByrom
Okay well i have a user system and I am setting up user profiles but... I'm a bit stuck with the layout. I have done a bit of research by looking at how different websites have different profile pages (Such as facebook, myspace) etc. but does anybody know a good place where i can get inspiration on profile layouts? Thanks Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/168056-profile-layout-ideas/ Share on other sites
Adam
Mmm, myspace, facebook? Depends really. How much data will there be to display? What kind of data is it? I suppose a few tutorials / articles on how to use white space effectively could help. AshleyByrom
Well it is really basic information so there isn't really much to display. That is my problem, I need a profile that looks good but only uses a tiny bit of information... I'll start looking for whitespace tutorials now..thanks Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/168056-profile-layout-ideas/#findComment-886857 Share on other sites
ober
The key for when you don't have a lot of information to display is to feed the user information that immerses then further in the product. Cross-promote, advertise, give them stats, or give them actions to perform from the profile screen. All of these things can make it seem like there is more to the page.
