habib009pk
Dear Friends I have a little problem, i am working on a project, which is based on the updation of more than 1 lakh records after every 30 mins, In these records most of them are updated (80%) and some are inserted (20%). Now I am using the REPLACE query which updated and inserted the records frequently. Now the problem is that as it has huge no of records I doesn't know that how many records are updated and how many are inserted. Kindly Give me any idea that how can i know the no of records inserted and how many are updated through REPLACE query Thanks And Regards Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/171104-problem-in-replace-query/ Share on other sites
Adam
I don't think you can to be honest. You could use mysql_affected_rows to find the total, but I don't think there's anyway of distinguishing between an update and an insert. Are you using a kind of 'upsert'?
