delphi123
Hi - I've come from asp and .net development where there's a really nice excel-like interface for building, editing and creating tables in SQL. Can anyone point me towards software that works in a similar fashion for mySQL? It just seems incredibly slow developing with a clunky web interface and the only alternative I've seen is going back to black-screens and console! corbin
I do most stuff through the MySQL CLI, but I definitely understand what you mean. I'm not particularly a fan of PHPMyAdmin except for checking stuff or doing short things. I used Navicat a bit way back in the day, and I liked it quite a bit. It might be worth checking into it. (It's not free though... There's a 30 day trial or something I think though.) There's also the MySQL developer tools. http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/gui-tools/5.0.html I haven't used it in a while, but I think the MySQL Query Browser can be used to build queries.
