If I run it through http://www.jslint.com/ it gives a lot of "Missing semicolon" error messages.

 

Any ideas from some JavaScript gurus? Better ideas for validating Javascript?

 

JSLint is very clear regarding semicolons:

 

JSLint expects that every statement be followed by ; except for for, function, if, switch, try, and while. JSLint does not expect to see unnecessary semicolons or the empty statement.

 

Why not write your code as a human would write it (multiple lines), then run it through JSLint?  Compression should be the final step, after code validation.
