cags Posted October 5, 2009 Share Posted October 5, 2009 Hello everybody, the website nettuts recently ran a competion for people to submit 5 minute tutorials on various aspects of web developement. They are now posting 5 a day to narrow down the field and attempt to choose some winners. I bring this to your attention for two reasons, firstly there will no doubt be some great information available (nettuts in general tends to have some very interesting articles). Secondly and slighlty more selfishly, at some point my submission should appear. My submission was on setting up your local PC for easier devleopment of multiple sites. I would appreciate it if people could keep an eye on the competition and vote for my submission when it appears. I realise that no doubt now I've posted this you'll all go off, prefer one of the other submissions and vote for that instead, essentially meaning i've shot myself in the foot, but nevermind. If needs be I can (or assumably you can) edit the post to remove mention of my own entry. I'd prefer the topic stayed so people see the link to what I think is a great resource (I have absolutely no affiliation to them, I'm not even a member there), but obviously at the end of the day thats up to you.
