btw I alpha and beta tested runescape. Didn't much care for it.  But that was a loong time ago.  Not fair to judge today's incarnation by yesterday's standards, so to speak.  I've actually alpha and/or beta tested a lot of games, both popular and a bunch you've probably never heard of.  If I had to make a rough estimate, I'd say probably close to 200.

I'm assuming you mean RuneScape 2?  That would've been what...  Like 2002?

Nah, but I stole alot of employees from those other companies. Most companies wouldn't allow their employees a paycheck outside of XP. My business split the profits half for me and half for them. Capitalism ftw! I even had a few level 120s+ (Before summoning) working for me. Its strange why people are so lazy they can't even bother to sell their own cannonballs/buy own ores.

We should form a PHPFreak runescape clan! :D We first convince CV to switch from WoW to RS. Then we show how much richer we are than him. Sounds great eh?  :D

The summoning update bugs me.  My combat level is all whack now.

lol...We could convince him while he's still level 1.  MWA HAHAHA.

No, I mean the original runescape.  I think it was summer of 2001 or so.  I vaguely remember it was a bit before I got married.

I don't mind WoW's look.  It's been a conscious decision by Blizzard to keep the system requirements to play the game low, hence the lack of noticeable upgrade in the last five years.  The thing can be played on computers built in the late 90's.

Yeah, WoW has a variety of skills a character can learn.  There are three secondary professions anyone can learn - cooking, first aid, and fishing.  Everyone also has two primary professions they can learn.  The choices are available to all, but you're limited to two.  Some are 'gather' professions that allow you to obtain the materials necessary for the 'crafting' professions.  Examples include herbalism and mining.  The 'crafting' professions allow you to make stuff.  Examples include blacksmithing and alchemy.  My main is an herbalist/enchanter.  Herbs can be sold for decent money, and enchanting materials can be expensive.
