jrobles
I want to write a script that I can use to gather keyword rank statistics for SEO research. Ultimately I want to have the script run once a day and enter the stats into a mysql table. I have searched far and wide and have not found a script that a. works, or b. is free. The problem is, I dont even know where to get started in coding a script like this...any help? Daniel0
How would you do it by hand? Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/180127-php-keyword-rank-checker/#findComment-950217 Share on other sites

Daniel0
with my phalanges and a keyboard It was a very serious question. How would you analyze a website if you were to do it manually? If you can't do that then you wont be able to program a computer to do it either. As an example, imagine you want to make a function that computes the greatest common divisor (GCD) of two numbers. If you don't know how to find the GCD, trying to implement an algorithm that does it would be impossible. jrobles
I have a FF plug in that does it, but I have to store the data manually in an excel spreadsheet. I have seen several php scripts online but of the three that I tested none of them worked, hence why I am here.
