freeman76
Hi Everyone, I'm moving a website from a host to another, the previous host had php4 but this new host has php5 and the one who built the website had the following code: <?php $this = isset($_SERVER['PHP_SELF']) ? $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] : $HTTP_SERVER_VARS['PHP_SELF']; $categorie = basename(dirname($this)); $page = basename($this,".php"); include('../wiki/wiki.php'); ?> You can see it here in action: http://www.autourdubebe.org/, simply click a link and you'll get the following error: Fatal error: Cannot re-assign $this I searched on Internet but couldn't find any solution, I'm not a big programmer, can some one point me out to a solution? Thank you very much for your help. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/182098-please-help-fatal-error-cannot-re-assign-this/ Share on other sites
premiso
$this is a reserved variable name in most programming languages. Change that variable name and it will work just fine.
