scanreg Posted December 28, 2009 Share Posted December 28, 2009 Just got a wide screen monitor (21.5 inch) and the images are stretched width-wise What would be the optimal screen resolution do you think? I'm experimenting with the various screen resolutions but I wish they had one that said "normal" so that square images appeared "square", everything appearing as they should, makes you wonder why they have all the different screen resolutions anyway For example, how can you make sure that a "square" is displayed correctly as a "square" and not a stretched image? If anyone knows which screen resolution (or ratio) makes things look normal, would be great, thanks At this point, it seems to be 1280 x 768 (ratio 1.66667), but it still seems to stretch a little wide Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
