ADB_10
I am getting this icon in my design view of Dreamweaver. I see nothing in my code that explains it and when published it is creating an empty space above both includes of my index page. I can not click on it and it does not show up in the the individual include files, only the index page that the includes are placed. I have two other include files on the index page that are fine. Thanks in advance! [attachment deleted by admin] Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/187427-what-does-this-icon-mean/ Share on other sites
Daniel0
My guess would be either an HTML comment or a PHP code block. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/187427-what-does-this-icon-mean/#findComment-989758 Share on other sites
plznty
I think its a javascript code symbol or something along those lines Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/187427-what-does-this-icon-mean/#findComment-997913 Share on other sites
oni-kun
The symbol has a globe and an 'a', so I'd assume something to do with a hyperlink. It may default for js as well. ignace
The icon stands for "enclosed styles" and you can view all icons if you go to Edit > Preferences > Invisible Elements It has a listing of all icons + checkboxes to allow for disabling if they annoy you. If you are an inexperienced coder I suggest you leave them On turn them Off otherwise.
