Hi,
I want to access a part of file in PHP. I understood HTTP Range header is the solution. How do we implement HTTP Range header in PHP??? Iam using fopen() method to access a remote file by providing the URL.

Kindly Help

I'm not sure that is really want you want to do.  What exactly do you want to do with the file?  Edit it?  Write to it?

The best way to go about this (especially if you're editing) is to read the entire file into an array and then edit the various array elements and then write the array back to the file.

Info: PHP Manual

No Im not editing the file. Instead i need only a part of file which has the information which i require. The file size is very large(10+ MB). So we need to specify the byte range, and get the required bytes from the file(Instead of getting the whole file).

Thanks in advance
