FaT3oYCG
What up everyone! I have purchased a premium web template and modified the crap out of it because i contains so many bugs. This begs for the question, Why did you buy it then and if the answer is because you didn't know, Why didn't you get a refund XD. @ First impression: The body BG colour is horrid. The blue for the links is too hars on the white BG. Orange with blue? choose one or the other? Other than that I like it a lot. eatfishy
Why would I pay for a web template if I knew it has bug in it? The reason why I purchase it is because I wanted to save time on coding and focus on adding content in the website. They don't offer refund. =(*** O well, I'll make the money back once my website gets popular. thewooleymammoth
I hope you didnt pay alot for that, its pretty boring. why dont you just get a drupal or wordpress. there are tons of themes for those available for free. and they look much better. It will also increase your functionality so you can just focus on the content. its also got some html errors Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/191539-the-forbidden-blog/#findComment-1009874 Share on other sites

FaT3oYCG
Hovering over home makes the corners not rounded on the left. I still think the background colour is awful for the body. Orange with blue? choose one or the other? - you don't seem to have acted on this, maybe the text is just blurry? Just one personal note from me, couldn't you make it 2 column? the two right columns seem as though they should be merged to give the left column more of the page. Axeia
First impression I got is that it looks messy. I'd widen the left 'column' so it lines up with the links and let the searchbox line up with the two right 'columns' . I would leave the -moz-border-radius in the css file instead of in the HTML itself, and -webkit-border-radius and plain border-radius (Opera should support the latter soon). The blue links in the footer would be better off as white links as blue on blue is rather hard to read and if you use white it will have better contrast. (and it's already in the 'palette' as it's the background color of the content). You may want to use a <a href='mailto:you@provider.com'></a> mailto link for the mail address on the contact page to make things easier. (personally I prefer to use a form for contact to avoid having a email address 'out on the internet' as it that's bound to give you some extra spam). To speed things up (as the page is rather slow to respond) you may want to combine your stylesheets in a single file to save browsers a http request.
