Why is everyone picking out all the faults with the main site all of a sudden! All this time and now they start posting all the faults.

However i think most of those faults are to with the rich text editor that is used over at the main site to generate the content. But I'm not sure. However I think the admins will thank you for adding more work to thier planned maintenance . But I think the whole site is going to be redone.

i think people a) think that since this site is dedicated to server side programming, that it should somehow be flawless, and therefore feel it is ironic that it is not, and b) they feel they are somehow special for pointing this out.  I can just imagine a sardonic look on these peoples' face.

Please, take the time and do some research and find out how much it would have cost you to get your help from a decent paid-for source. A "roll-of-the-dice" freelancer will charge you $5-$15/hr. A decent entry level freelancer will charge you around $15-30/hr. A professional will charge you anywhere from $50-$100/hr. An agency will charge anywhere from $100-$250/hr. Think about all this when soliciting for help here. Think about how much money you are making from the work you are asking for help on. No, we do not expect you to pay for the help given here, but donating a few bucks is a fraction of the cost of what you would have paid, shows your appreciation, helps motivate people to keep offering help without the pricetag, and helps make this a higher quality free-help community :)

No, I don't feel special about it. I just mentioned it. About adding more work for them, then think about a bug tracker... this would be given a priority like low, but it still has to be fixed eventually.

Just to end any of the arguments that might arise from such a post. Ober and I are now admins of the entire phpfreaks.com domain.  We are both working on re-doing the ENTIRE site, with a few surprises for the members.  Just give us time.
