liamloveslearning
Hi everyone, I have my first big job on (Big to me) and im just confused as to how to price it. Do you guys charge per hour or project? The website has to have a member login, each member has the facility to upload 1 image a month which has to be approved by admin, The image would then go on the homepage and available to buy from visitors. I know its a crap idea but its what the client wants, how would you go about pricing? JonnoTheDev
If you have agreed a spec then I would charge a project price. Any ammendments outside of the spec are charged at an hourly rate. roopurt18
Estimate how many hours you expect the project to take. Multiply by 3. Multiply by the amount you want to make per hour. That's your project estimate. Make sure it's understood that your estimate is for what's in the spec. If, after you deliver, they want to make modifications, then they need to create a new spec and you start all over.
