tiota Posted July 25, 2010 Share Posted July 25, 2010 Hi, I managed to install wamp server ver 2.0 on my machine and it worked perfectly. Everyone in my network can access my web sites hosted on my server. The only thing is it cannot be accessed outsite the network(i.e throuth the internet) The wamp server contains the following components mysql 5.3.16 php 5.3.0 appache 2.2.11 Thanks in advance Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

(httpd.conf or apache.conf) There is a section in there which denies access from ip ranges which fall outside what are valid lan ranges. Pikachu2000 Posted July 25, 2010 Share Posted July 25, 2010 If the computer has a private IP address (10.x.x.x, 172.16.0.0 through 172.16.255.255, or 192.168.x.x) and/or you're behind a firewall, you'll need to explicitly allow outside traffic destined for that computer, and configure forwarding rules.
