Hi,

I am relatively beginner web designer, and this is my first website that I actually took days to design code and research, and still growing. It has been about a year since I registered a domain and I am finally getting to a point of having decent content. This site is designed as beginners guide to everything HDTV. I could use some advice from the public or potential user. What do you like and mainly what do you dislike or like to see.

Slightly unrelated sub question:

I have a webmaster tool's account with Google and so far it is indexing only 2 sides out of my 35 (all in site map that is submitted). I have both www and non-www versions verified, I have no malware, or spam key-wording or any suggestions from Google. It has been like this for over an month now any ideas?

I started this website on word press, but left it due to limitations and designed my own site from scratch. I have included robot.txt to block the sub-pages that do not exist anymore, but Google still indexed some. I do have 404 forward set up.

The design is average, but I guess this site is about content, rather than design. I really like it and I'd recommend this site to anyone who's buying a new TV (I even bookmarked it for myself  :)).

I wish there were more sites like this on the first pages of google search.

I agree, the site is average; bit plain to look at. With very minimal effort you could greatly improve the appearance just by applying a few varied fonts. I chucked together a quick example using Firebug to show you the difference, but with a bit more time and experimentation you could get much better results.

The comment "the site looks average" is probably the best comment one could receive as it means "yeah, this looks like a regular website" so good job on that. I would ditch the Times/New Roman font you have though, it looks bad/noobish. Other then that it's a good purposeful site.
