haku Posted September 15, 2010 Share Posted September 15, 2010 Those actually are hacks - they target specific versions of older browsers. But they are hacks in that they weren't designed to do that, they are bugs that allow that to be done. As such, they could cause unpredictable results in the future. Much better to use conditional comments which were made for the purpose of targeting IE browsers, and are purposefully ignored by other browsers.
